I'm Charmaine

Artist, illustrator and professional mess-maker based in the UK.

Equally fascinated by both the natural and fantastical worlds, I work in both traditional and digital mediums to create a variety of different wildlife and fantasy art and illustration.

  • Unfortunately, I am unable to accept commissions. This may change in the future.

  • I use an iPad Pro 12.9", an Apple Pencil and Procreate. I use Adobe Fresco for vector illustrations.

    I also use my smartphone and Sketchbook to create illustrations, sketches and colouring lineart.

  • Not currently but, when I do the illustrations and sketches will be available in the studio shop here.

    Paintings on a larger scale and other collection work will be available for the collectors' mailing list only.

  • The main medium that I keep returning to is pen and ink on bristol board paper.

    I do use a variety of different mediums from acrylic to oil pastels and I'm always discovering new types of art and supplies to use.

  • No. I am self-taught from various online videos, trial and error and dabbling then diving into new materials and styles of working.
